November 4, 2023 - Gingerbread Wonderland

Get ready for the holidays!  Bring your mom, sister, daughters, granddaughters, girlfriends, and maybe an apron to participate in this hands-on crafting of a gingerbread house. Join Heather Vick of Concordia Language Villages and Gingerbread Wonderland founding volunteer, and Max Stevenson, Norway House Chief of Staff and “Pepperkake” (Gingerbread) Professor—as they present a brief history of gingerbread and Gingerbread Wonderland.  During the presentation, each table will work together to decorate its house, which we hope you will contribute to this year’s Gingerbread Wonderland. The assembled house ready for decorating and decorating candies will be provided. For those who wish, feel free to bring along additional edible items to help decorate your house!  A not to miss first time event for both Lakselaget and Norway House!  

And, we also know members will be pulled from near and far to attend the first of the many holiday bazaars….let’s start out at Lakselaget!  Dress for the day!
